Comment: On Hwy 197 in Bemidji to 1.7 miles south - Lane width restrictions, intermittent flag person, minor traffic delays. Detour on Hwy 71 starts July 6 through late August 2010. Detour: Hubbard Co.Rd. 9 north to Hubbard Co. Rd. 98 , then east to Beltrami Co. Rd. 2 to Hwy 71. SB traffic will use the same detour in reverse.DETOUR is posted for 9 Ton. Hwy 71 project home page

Starting Aug 9th, all traffic will be directed to use the detour as crews replace culverts. DETOUR: Baudette EB traffic to Hwy 72 S. to Hwy 1 E to Hwy 71 N to Pelland. WB traffic will follow same detour in reverse.
